How hard is it?
This shoulder exercise is easy to set up and the movement pattern is quite simple. Good postural alignment is required giving those all important stabiliser muscles a good workout too.
Which muscle group does it work?
This exercise works the muscles in the shoulders with more emphasis on the rear section of the shoulder.
What’s good about it?
This shoulder exercise is not only good for strengthening the shoulder, it gives those stabiliser muscles in the upper back a good workout too. This is one of my favourite home fitness exercises to help correct posture – especially with people who have a desk job.
This exercise only requires light resistance as the muscle targeted is quite small and fatigues quickly.
